Professional Services Engineer

As\na Professional Services Engineer here at Honeywell Building Automation (BA),\nyou will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and support to\nour customers. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality professional\nservices, including system design, installation, configuration, and\ntroubleshooting. Your strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge\nwill ensure the successful implementation and operation of our building\nautomation solutions.

LenelS2’s Professional Engineering Services Team\nis a group of skilled system engineers that assist in the deployment, upgrade,\nand migration of LenelS2 access control systems critical to the security\noperations of customers including Fortune 100 firms, financial institutions,\nuniversities, and government facilities

You will report directly to our Manager Custom Solutions and Professional Services and you'll work out of our Pittsford,\nNY location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the satisfaction of our\ncustomers and the success of our professional services operations. You will\ncollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer\nexperiences and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Support the LenelS2 Value Added Reseller (VAR) Channel 
-Provide manufacturer technical product guidance in the following areas: 
-System design and pre-planning 
-Software installation and upgrades 
-Implementation of fault tolerant and disaster recovery solutions 
-Complex installations and configuration 
-Provide project planning, testing and deployment services for the LenelS2 product family  

The annual base salary range for this position is $85,600 -$107,000.  Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.  Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including, but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

-2+ years of customer facing experience in a technology industry 
-2+ years of experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle databases 
-2+ years of Server administration experience

-Experience working with Microsoft operating systems (Windows OS). 
-Experience testing and supporting software installations.

-Entry-level knowledge of SQL database engines required 
-Experience in Access Control, Video, Intrusion, or related technologies is a plus 

Additional information: 
This position requires availability to travel; typically, individual trips of short duration (3-5 days).  International travel is possible.
