Professional Services - Practice Lead (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

We are hiring a Professional Services Practice Lead to join our Professional Services team. In this role you will be tasked to grow our capability and associated revenue in our FinTech / Ops and Tech consulting business. The practice leader roles are aligned with our industry verticals and our cross-industry horizontals. Industry verticals are Asset Management, Capital Markets, Wealth Management; and cross-industry horizontals are Data and Emerging Technologies (DLT, AI, RPA). The roles report to the global head of Professional Services.

Candidates who want to learn the FinTech business / ecosystem and are Partner/MD or 1-2 years from being promoted to Partner/MD would be ideal prospects.

Job Responsibilities:

Business Development

Develop consulting value propositions / offeringsTake ownership of and manage the entire life-cycle of a consulting sales process to a client. Develop leads (through working with existing consulting clients, through our sales and account management team, through leveraging their own professional network), pitch proposals to clients, negotiate SOWs and launch projectsMaintain an ongoing market presence to establish Broadridge Consulting as a top-of-mind Ops and Tech consulting firm for Asset Management clients

Deliver with Quality

Manage, guide engagement teams that are delivering consulting engagements. Develop analytical approaches, delegate work to engagement leads / project managers, monitor progress, check quality of deliverables, ensure high level of client satisfactionAttend client steering committee meetings, act as a point of issue escalation for engagements, present findings to client executive teamsDrive towards on-time and on-budget delivery of consulting engagements

Build-out Practices including Thought Leadership

Create thought leadership (industry perspectives) that will make clients want to engage with Broadridge ConsultingCreate toolkits and playbooks that make delivery easier, follow a repeatable model and bring to clients Broadridge’s collective experience

Develop Junior Consultants

Train and mentor junior consultants in the consulting disciplineManage utilization targets

Collaborate with Broadridge Network

Work closely with Broadridge colleagues from outside Professional Services (e.g., Product, Sales, Business Development) to bring the ‘best of Broadridge’ to clientsLead, participate and contribute to company-wide efforts, e.g., Diversity and Inclusion, Recruitment

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors or equivalent required, and an MBA or equivalent preferredTypically, the candidate will have 8-12 years of experience with financial institutions or with a consulting firm exposing the candidate to financial services Ops and Tech areas. Mix of operations and consulting experience preferred

Skills/Competencies:

Understanding of the Operations and Technology landscape at Financial InstitutionsFamiliarity with the financial language (lexicon, taxonomy) and trends in buy-side and sell-side financial servicesExcellent communication skills. Both verbal and writtenAbility to ‘face-off’ with senior clients through demonstrating a reasonable degree of executive presenceCollaborative workstyle and with a desire to develop others

Salary Range: $200,000 to $250,000 Annual

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
