The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $68,536 - $140,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills
Research, design, implement, test, and debug a variety of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) software functions; Investigate software issues to get to their root cause and resolving them appropriately; Support site personnel during system commissioning; Configure AGV software utilizing documentation from hardware engineering; create and update documentation; and travel to job sites to support commissioning and or address AGV software issues.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or closely related field and 2 years’ experience as a Software Engineer or closely related occupation. Also requires 1 year of experience with C / C ++ / C# Programming with Upper-Level Controls and User Interface points; Database Experience (MS-SQL, Oracle); Microsoft Windows Server Editions and Desktop Editions; Material Handling: AGVs, WMS, Case Pick; AGILE software development environment; Source Control – TFS, Subversion with Tortoise, and FinalBuilder; SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Red Prairie (or other ERP Software); Microsoft Visual Studio .NET; Server Hardware and Virtualization; PLCs or I/O Modules; Training Users on Software; and writing User Manuals and/or Help Files.
