Responsibilities include: + Utilize the nursing process to provide holistic, patient-centered care. + Formulate daily care plans, collaborating with patients as partners. + Identify and address clinical, social, psychological, and spiritual needs. + Communicate effectively with care providers to ensure continuity of care. + Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient documentation. + Promote patient safety, quality, and satisfaction by aligning with best practices. + Engage in quality improvement initiatives and support evidence-based practices. + Foster productive, culturally sensitive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues. + Provide patient and family education, ensuring smooth transitions between care levels. + Support the development of new staff and students, serving as a mentor or preceptor. + Participate in shared governance and contribute to improvements in care and the work environment. + Demonstrate adaptability, accountability, and a commitment to professional growth.
