Professional Staff Nurse, OP – Heart and Vascular

This full-time position will be scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a possibility of hybrid/remote hours during the week. No holidays, evenings or weekends are required. Two years of prior clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities and contributing to enhanced patient care. Foster positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues, staff, patients, and families in a complex healthcare environment. Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to address patient care needs and solve problems effectively. Educate patients, families, and colleagues, applying adult learning principles to support understanding and development. Develop and implement individualized care plans, considering patients’ holistic needs and coordinating with physicians. Demonstrate accountability through comprehensive documentation, solid communication, and collaboration with the care team. Commit to professional growth through shared governance, goal setting, and adapting to change in the practice environment. Support a caring, patient-centered experience by building compassionate relationships and maintaining open dialogue.
