Responsibilities: Develops and maintains productive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating accountability, enthusiasm, and cultural awareness. Promotes work-life balance, models safe work hours, and communicates workplace safety hazards to management. Applies adult learning principles in teaching patients, families, students, and new staff; supports development through precepting and fostering continuous learning. Uses the nursing process to create individualized, holistic care plans with patients, incorporating critical thinking and communication skills. Ensures comprehensive documentation that enhances caregiver communication and aligns with professional and organizational goals. Builds compassionate, healing relationships with patients, families, and team members to improve patient experiences and outcomes. Demonstrates accountability for professional growth, actively participating in shared governance, goal setting, and change initiatives. Engages in quality improvement efforts, identifying opportunities for enhancing care and contributing to team discussions and multidisciplinary rounds.
