Summary of Position
The Advanced Manufacturing/Robotics Instructor will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum in advanced manufacturing and robotic technologies, focusing on industry-relevant skills and knowledge. This role involves providing hands-on training, mentoring students, and collaborating with industry partners to ensure that program outcomes align with current manufacturing and robotics trends.
Minimum Required Education
+ Bachelor’s degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology or a related field required (Master’s Degree preferred).
Minimum Required Experience
+ Relevant industry experience in advanced manufacturing processes and technologies.
+ Teaching experience in a higher education setting or vocational training environment is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Knowledge of current manufacturing software and tools (e.g., CAD , SolidWorks, Tensile Test Machine, 3D Printer).
+ Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
+ Demonstrate a high level of verbal and writing skills as well as computational skills.
