University of Rochester: Office of the Provost: Academic Center: Eastman School of Music **Salary Range or Pay Grade** $55,000 - $150,000 **Description** The Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester invites applications for a tenure- eligible, full-time faculty appointment in Jazz Drum Set beginning 1 July 2025. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include teaching applied jazz drum-set lessons to majors (undergraduate and graduate) and maintaining an international standing as a performing artist and teacher. Secondary responsibilities can be individualized based on the applicant’s interests or area(s) of expertise and may include ensemble leadership and classroom teaching. The faculty member will also contribute to the musical life of the Eastman School of Music, including participating in recruitment, auditions, juries, and recitals. In compliance with the NY Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for these positions is $55,000 - $150,000 (Assistant, Associate, Full Professor).
