The role will be based at **Chessington World of Adventures Resort** , and reports into the Head of Profit Protection - UK & EMEA. As a guardian of integrity, your mission is clear: prevent, detect, investigate, and recover losses to our business. Your key responsibilities include; 🕵️‍♂️ **Investigation Wizard:** Conduct local investigations into theft, fraud and whistleblowing allegations, including gathering evidence and conducting interviews. 🔒 **Risk Mitigation Guru:** Identify loss-causing risks and provide expert advice to mitigate these. 📋 **Compliance Pro:** Complete regular audits to ensure compliance with policies and operational excellence standards across the Attraction. 🔍 **Data Whisperer:** Utilise data analysis to proactively identify potential losses, providing guidance and support to Attraction teams. 💡 **Strategic Partner:** Coach and support Attraction teams in reducing shrinkage, stock loss, and revenue loss. 📊 **Reporting Master:** Collate accurate loss KPI figures, providing detailed analysis and action plans to minimise losses. Join us in defending the magic as a Loss Prevention/Profit Protection specialist, and look after one of the UK's most exciting resort theme parks where you’ll be protecting everything from revenue to rhinos, retail stock to spare rollercoaster wheels! **Qualifications & Experience** + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comfortably communicate with all levels of the business + Numerate with the ability to analyse data + Experience using Microsoft office software is essential, especially Excel and PowerPoint + Computer literate with the ability to learn various POS and reporting systems + Previous experience in loss prevention, investigations, security, or inventory controls desirable – we will happily arrange for the successful applicant to complete Wicklander-Zulawski training. + Previous experience in retail, food & beverage, visitor attractions, or tourist industry highly desirable This role is based at Chessington World of Adventures Resort – please note that the Profit Protection office is located on the first floor with no lift access. During the main theme park season the role holder will be expected to be on site for an average of 4 days a week, however hybrid and flexible working arrangements are open to discussion. We would also be happy to discuss a 30-hour working week with anyone looking for more flexibility. Occasional weekend / evening working may be required for operational needs.
