Job Description Summary
The Program Aide Course Editor & Reviewer, under general supervision, supports the development of hybrid, or online courses for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences ( COALS ) . Ensure courses are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) .
Responsibilities
+ Collaborates with instructional design staff to review and edit online, blended, and web-enhanced courses in Canvas .
+ Evaluates course materials for quality control, functionality, and accessibility.
+ Assists with accessibility-related course development tasks, such as formatting PowerPoints, writing alt text for images , remediating PDFs , and captioning .
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in applicable field.
+ Course review or course accessibility experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Fluent in English.
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
+ Basic Microsoft Office skills.
+ Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
+ Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection.
