Summary About the Position:The Program Analysis Officer Operations position is located at Program Executive Office, Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO, STRI) in Orlando, Florida. The pay band NH-04 is equivalent to the GS-14/15 grade levels. Responsibilities Serve as the Assistant Program Executive Officer (APEO) providing overall strategic guidance and direction for operations. Responsible for providing strategic oversight in the planning and execution of all assigned tasks within the APEO, to include cross-synchronization between assigned Directorates, Project Managers, and external stakeholders. Develop, implements, and evaluates strategies to address all aspects of Program Executive Officer (PEO) business practices to ensure constant improvement in efficiencies and effectiveness of Business Operations. Develop measures of performance and effectiveness to advise the Program Executive Officer (PEO) and Deputy PEO (DPEO) in the evaluation of enterprise-level business practices. Perform the full range of personnel management duties to include planning workload, establishing priorities, and supervision. Advise PEO Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (STRI), leadership on plans, policies and best practices, and recommends changes to organizational alignment and processes to improve mission success. Specialized Experience: To qualify your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) level in the Federal service that includes: providing expert advice, guidance, and direction on in human resources (HR) programs, security and protection, operations, and facility and infrastructure; analyzing organizational performance data to draw conclusions and provide recommendations; advise management regarding the status, efficiency, or effectiveness of enterprise-level business practices; developing plans and policy changes to improve enterprise support and effectiveness; and preparing/presenting, orally or in writing, information and decision briefings. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Human Resources Management Oral Communication Planning and Evaluating Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
