PROGRAM ANALYST
Summary You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Consolidated Administrative Business (JCAB) Office of NLSC. Responsibilities You will serve as the travel program compliance support and data analytics specialist for the Office of the Judge Advocate General (OJAG) / Naval Legal Service Command (NLSC) worldwide. You will perform weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc in-depth analysis of travel program management and sustainment data ensuring compliance with regulations. You will create and maintain event folders containing all applicable emails, spreadsheets, and other documents. You will provide accurate and timely advice as the subject matter expert in the process and policies ensuring all guidance is in accordance with regulations. You will analyze and review individual charge card activity to identify potential abuse and/or non-official use. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying relevant policies and procedures sufficient to properly execute and advise on routine and complex travel functions and/or travel card usage. Examples of specialized experience include some or all the following: 1) Providing guidance on travel policy and allowances, and maintaining the travel database. 2) Performing weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or ad hoc in-depth analysis of travel program management and sustainment data. 3) Analyzing and reviewing individual charge card activity to identify potential abuse and/or non-official use. 4) Providing technical and authoritative guidance regarding the interpretation and application of travel policies. 5) Issuing travel cards and activating/deactivating cards, as appropriate, in accordance with applicable guidelines.
