Summary This position is in Office of Mission Support, Office of Engagement and Program Management, Customer Experience & Communications Division, Customer Experience, Adoptions & Training Branch. About Office of Mission Support This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. *EPA offers work-from-home and work schedule flexibilities as described in the Benefits section. Responsibilities You will: Serve as the National Program Manager for the Microsoft 365 Tools Training Program. Build and maintain partnerships among Office of Mission Support (OMS), Office of Public Affairs/Office of Internal Communications, and other EPA staff. Conduct annual program evaluation. Manage the financial health of the program through budgeting. One or more positions may be filled (in the organization advertised and/or in other organizations), if appropriate to the position. Unless an appropriate background investigation is already on record with the Office of Personnel Management, you must undergo a background investigation. You must meet time in grade requirements no later than 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement. Qualifications NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for the GS-13 level, you need to have at least one year of full time experience equivalent to the GS-12 level defined as developing and applying analytical approaches to carry out studies and projects to evaluate program performance and efficiency. Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools. Ability to assist and advise in the development and review of instructional materials to be used in training. Ability to oversee the development of internal marketing materials. Skill in oral communication. Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships. Ability to utilize tools to identify program deficiencies. Skill in written communication. Ability to brief and advise higher-level management. Ability to appropriate and apply financial resources. Knowledge of EPA and Government Contract processes. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
