Program Analyst
PROGRAM ANALYST Position Summary The Program Analyst supports the CBP Commercial Accounts Branch by assisting with higher-level functions such as specialized processing, training staff, and performing as the subject matter expert on initial inquiry resolutions for multiple programs. This position is responsible for the selection and application of CBP established procedures and techniques and for the protection of sensitive financial information. Essential Functions + Analysis and review of specialized processing task(s) including but not limited to assisting in developing and updating systems, policies, and procedures; full ownership of assigned programs, processing and responsibility for completion; delegating tasks as needed to ensure completion + Perform specialized analysis and review of other processing reports as requested + Prioritizing and tracking workload among multiple programs + Identify and initiate resolution of issues + Conduct beta testing for systems, databases, software, and/or processes + File storage management + Train new staff on programs and processes + Maintain department SOPs, training materials, and related procedural manuals/guidelines + Act as the SME for primary assigned processes, and relied upon as a go-to resource for other departmental processes + Audit and review work product and coordinate corrections + Coordinate effectively with peers and management on a regular basis + Other duties as assigned JOB SPECIFICATIONS/Qualifications + Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field + Experience: A minimum of six months experience working within the essential functions listed above + Essential Skills: + Advanced knowledge of and/or experience with accounting principles and practices + Ability to interpret and apply federal regulations + Ability to multi-task effectively + Ability to perform complex problem resolution + Must be computer literate + Must be proficient with Excel + Possess strong time management skills + Be detail oriented + Possess a strong sense of urgency Dextera Corporation fosters a diverse work environment and provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) for all employees and applicants for employment.
