Summary About the Position: This position is located at Department of Defense Education Activity, Americas Office of the Director, Direct of Student Excellence Support Team. This position is not covered by a bargaining unit. Responsibilities Montor student activity and Interscholastic Athletic Program budget. Review after action reports for evidence of continual activity improvements. Analyze the effectiveness of curricular learning opportunities for student activities. Evaluate the development of the interscholastic Athletic Program Planning for students. Develop and implement plans to communicate new and existing transformational development projects, influencing manager on recommendation and organization improvements. Conduct a variety of studies, analyses, and reports to identify needs and develop for general and specific program activity requirements. Develop Interscholastic Athletic Program management reports to identify strengths and opportunities for student development criteria for selection and participation. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. One year of specialized experience which includes: monitor management processes to execute co-curricular learning opportunities for students; assess the effectiveness of a Student Activity operation for organizational improvements; prepare reports and data to identify problems in Student Activities. The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
