Summary About the Position: Serve as the Army Staff officer responsible for providing policy, training strategies, and resources for the Army Ground and Air Operating Tempo (OPTEMPO) Programs. This position is located in the Collective Training Division of the Training Directorate, DCS G-35/7, HQDA. This position is located at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA. Responsibilities Direct, coordinate, and evaluate comprehensive assessments of program output and resource execution. Review, interpret, and ensure that Congressional, OSD/OMB and Army Staff policy is implemented on financial management systems, procedures, and substantive program matters. Review contract statements of work and requests for proposal (RFPs). Direct consolidation of products for development of the program, budget, and funding letter and ensures their adequacy to support the needs of total Army components, other Services, Defense Agencies, and reimbursable customers. Provide periodic execution reports to the Army leadership and to DOD, when requested. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing and providing recommendations on the development of ground training strategies and systems withing the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process; offer resource management guidance on funding allocations and budgeting in regard to ground training strategies and systems programs. .
