Job Title: Program Analyst

Job Description

Assist in coordinating requirement-related actions within the Headquarters and other Army Staff Divisions in accordance with AR 71-9. These actions include organizing meetings, working groups, and video teleconferences (VTCs); tracking Joint Urgent Operations Needs Statements (JUONS) and Joint Emergent Operations Needs Statements (JEONS); coordinating Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED), Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS), and Emergent Threat Initiatives; managing workflow; and updating and tracking assigned tasks to ensure progress towards deadlines.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare weekly slides and coordinate with Combatant Commands (COCOMs), Services, and Combat Theaters to ensure sr Army leaders have timely briefing materials and packets.Assist in planning, execution, and budgeting meetings in support of all Army-assigned JUONS.Participate in and facilitate synchronization of capability delivery to COCOMs and Services by ensuring material developer schedules and priorities reflect sr leader guidance.Provide support for US Army equities in preparation for Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC), Joint Rapid Acquisitions Cell (JRAC), and other forum engagements, including Warfighter Sr Integration Groups and Quarterly Reviews.Provide subject matter expertise to synchronize, integrate, and facilitate JUONS/JEON, C-IED, C-sUAS, and Emergent Threat Initiatives.Assist in writing Execute Orders (EXORDs), Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs), and other correspondence.Create FORM 5s either via ETMS2 or on paper and assist the Government in staffing tasks outside of the ETMS2 system.Support efforts in both the Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) and Secret Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) environments.Adjust work efforts as required within the Strategic Operations branch to meet mission requirements.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office software packages (Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel).Minimal supervision required in a fast-paced, critical environment.Proficiency in the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2).Experience with engaging and coordinating at senior Army, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff, or Army Service Component Commands (ASCC) and Major Commands levels.Skill in planning, coordination, and execution of urgent operational needs in support of Army requirements for Components and Combatant Commands.Knowledge of coordinating with major stakeholders to negotiate and synthesize information to ensure progress in response to urgent requirements.Ability to support development of analysis, recommendations, and staff senior-level information, coordination, and decision documents and materials.Critical thinking and analytical skills to present clear and precise recommendations.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to focus on mission requirements while managing multiple competing priorities.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree required.At least five (5) years of related experience.Prior military service in the Army preferred.Work Environment

Fully onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $62.50/hr.
