General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Program Analyst, role on an existing contract to support the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and their critical mission needs.
As the Program Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in FDA’s IT modernization by ensuring the seamless execution and delivery of IT projects. The driving force behind our business growth is a skilled and dedicated project management team. We’re searching for a highly qualified Program Analyst to help us maintain our position as an innovative authority. The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in work-plan development and progress tracking. This role will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal of innovation is being achieved.
This role is hybrid with 2 days a week onsite in Silver Spring, MD and/or at the GDIT office in Gaithersburg, MD. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaise with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goalsAnalyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal resultsAssign roles and tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and abilitiesCapture meeting minutes and help with administrative tasksHelp build the skill sets of team members and share learnings with otherAchieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practicesEnsure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirementDevelop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestonesAssign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables outputReport project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work planServe as point of communication between internal teams and external teamsEnsure comprehensive documentation is maintained for all project activities, including updating project management tools like JIRA and ConfluenceRequired Skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in project coordination and administrative tasksExperience in presenting and capturing capturing meeting minutes requiredExperience in coordinating teams and clientsExperience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence), Microsoft Tools (including Project) requiredEnterprise level experience with large and complex IT modernization effortsAbility to obtain a Public TrustPreferred Skills and Experience:

The likely salary range for this position is $83,300 - $112,700. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
