The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

 

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. 

 

SDG is hiring now for a Program Analyst at Maritime Plaza with frequent trips Washington Navy Yard.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $100,000-150,000/year.

Responsibilities

The candidate will support the development and acquisition of a major Department of the Navy weapons system. The candidate will be responsible for:

Serving as an Action Officer for the effort including the coordination and execution of planning meetings and client projects in support of the various acquisition efforts.Gathering information from various sources and conducting analysis of that information to inform program decisions.Presenting results to peers and senior leadership within client and partner organizations.

The Program Analyst will spend the majority of their time at Maritime Plaza with frequent trips to the Washington Navy Yard. There will be a small amount of required support at SPA HQ in Alexandria. Some telework is possible after an initial training period and when workload supports.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Current DoD TOP SECRET clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret while employed with SPABusiness Administration or Management degree5+ Years of experience in an engineering, acquisition, or development effort, or 5+ years of military service4-7 Years experience in Government Finance and Acquisitions or equivalent experienceProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

 Desired Qualifications:
