Responsibilities What You'll Do: V2X is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support to Naval Air Systems Command's Program Office (PMA-265). Performs and coordinates detailed analysis for the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Supports the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager. Key Responsibilities: May apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. May analyze requirements, status, budget, and schedules. May perform management, technical, or business case analyses. May collect, complete, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. May track program/project status and schedules. May apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management. May provide support for the integration of the F/A-18 Avionics subsystems through requirements analysis and traceability and provide technical interface with managers and engineers for new technologies with a particular emphasis on the F/A-18 Combat System and Standard Missiles, all in support of the Canadian Hornet Extension Project (HEP). May have a working knowledge of the Airworthiness and Flight Certification process within Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education: MS or MA degree in a Business, Management, or "Relevant Technical Discipline" Or BS or BA degree or an additional three (3) years of experience can be substituted for an MS or MA degree. An additional five (5) year of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Experience: At least ten (10) years experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline, related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management; and a minimum of six (6) years out of 10 years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning. Other Requirements: This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance Desired Qualifications: Experience: Have a working knowledge of the Airworthiness and Flight Certification process within NAVAIR and its application to FMS Requirements Knowledge of Flight Test requirements for specific F/A-18 systems and how it impact the integration of the system on the platform Be able to communicate with engineers, both domestic and foreign, on software-related issues as they apply to sensors and weapons System of System analysis including analysis of alternatives and recommendations for technology investment to drive system performance Planning and guiding systems engineering studies, analysis efforts, and risk working groups Experience supporting programs within the DoD acquisition community is required F/A-18 Avionics Background preferred Skills & Technology Used: Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Possesses both analytical and interpersonal skills. Good problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills/techniques. Business Partner/Effective Communicator: English language skills to communicate and negotiate with vendors. Strong communicators must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally. Ability to train, lead projects, and direct employees. Customer service oriented, detail-focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability. Software: Microsoft Office Suite Excel Outlook SharePoint Personal computer, printer, copy machine, and other general office equipment. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
