Program and Budget Consultant

Kearney and Company is seeking a Program and Budget Consultant to join the Pentagon team! The Consultant will support program and budget in the development of President's Budget rollout material to include: Defense Overview Book, Weapons Book Black Book Papers and budget roll-out slides. The Consultant will also be responsible for creating and updating meeting schedules, printing read ahead slides and preparing books for OUSD and Program and Budget Leadership. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience Bachelor's Degree Military Department Headquarters PPBE experience with concentration on Program and Budget Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship) Willing to work onsite at the Pentagon daily 5 days a week Must be highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite to include publishing books using Word, working on formulas and pivot tables in Excel, developing PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership, and managing SharePoint Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills Must have the ability to quickly understand both business and technical concepts Must have extensive experience in translating business requirements into technical requirements to provide solutions and recommendations to the Government Must have outstanding writing skills and the ability to quickly deliver quality written products in constrained time periods Must also have outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders across DoD Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers on various ad hoc requests Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with multi-media development applications Proficiency with the use of state-of-the-art software analytics Minimum active secret clearance Overview Exclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
