The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to join UTA during an exciting period of growth and contribute as the university broadens its impact. **Job Summary** The Coordinator of Program Assessment will provide support to the University’s institutional effectiveness processes including assessment and compliance with accreditation expectations. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Coordinate the timely submission and review of assessment plans and related reports. + Serve as consultant to faculty and staff. + Implementation, administration of the University’s assessment management software, including training and support. + Assist with preparation of assessment related training materials, resources and presentations. + Gather information required for accreditation purposes. + Research institutional policies related to accreditation expectations. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of experience working in a higher education setting. **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s degree. + Previous experience working in higher education assessment and accreditation. + Previous knowledge and experience working with assessment software. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Must be proficient using standard office software and comfortable learning to use new software packages. + Excellent written and oral communication skills. + Proficiency in Excel. **Other Requirements** **Working Conditions** **Special Conditions for Eligibility** **CBC Requirement** It is the policy of The University of Texas at Arlington to conduct a criminal background check on any applicant who is under final consideration for employment with the University. **EEO Statement** It is the policy of The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA or The University) to provide an educational and working environment that provides equal opportunity to all members of the University community.
