NJ PBSIS provides community facing professional development to build capacity of school personnel in PrK-12th grade settings to implement social, emotional, and behavioral health interventions. NJ PBSIS is a supportive team environment where everyone’s voice is heard, assets are amplified, and professional growth is encouraged. The Program Assistant works closely with the Project Director and contributes to achieving the project mission by providing technical, logistical, and programmatic support. This is a multi-faceted position that requires an analytical approach to carrying out responsibilities. This position is well matched to candidates who have excellent time and organization management skills, compelling communication and interpersonal skills, and fluent computer and web literacy. 

Among the key duties of this position are the following: This position works closely with the project Director across all responsibilities including bi-weekly to monthly coordination meetings; attendance at twice monthly project team meetings; ongoing development-revision process of products and materials; and keeping the Director informed about project duties. Project duties occur weekly.  Enters data; conducts data audits; develops and implements procedures to ensure data quality; develops data tracking tools; engages in advanced Excel use to support data analysis; creates summaries of data; develops graphs; supports project report development, acquires information relative to supporting data analysis; and works with the project Director to coordinate all aspects of implementing a Tableau data workflow. Project duties occur weekly to monthly.  Manages all aspects of the NJ PBSIS Qualtrics account including maintaining the library, setting up forms, tracking and reporting on response patterns; exporting data; responding to data and information requests; and implementing project Qualtrics protocols and quality checklists. Project duties occur daily to weekly.  Works with the project Director to coordinate logistics for in-person and web-delivered events; works with the event host site to coordinate logistics; manages the contract process for fee-based sites; coordinates links and technology for web-based events; and works with other support staff to coordinate logistics planning and other duties relative to event planning. Project duties occur monthly to quarterly.   Maintains a current project database of NJ PBSIS school and district partners, develops and manages campaigns in Constant Contact according to the project schedule of activities, tracks and provides updates on communications data; conducts routinely scheduled outreach to personnel in maintenance schools.
