Program Assistant
Broome-Tioga BOCES
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Supports program administration to implement programs effectively and efficiently
+ Assists with program development and implementation, including database management, monitoring CSE requirement, scheduling and logistics
+ Tracks ordering, budgets, and cross-program communication equipment
+ Monitors assistance and progress of program-wide events
+ Supports implementation of required professional training and student data tracking
+ Undertakes special projects or initiatives as needed
+ Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Graduation from a NYS registered or regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree, OR
+ Graduation from a NYS registered or regionally accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree and two years of clerical experience in an office setting which must have involved maintaining electronic records in a database or spreadsheet applications; OR
+ Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma and four years of clerical experience in an office setting which must have involved maintaining electronic records in a database or spreadsheet application; OR
+ An equivalent combination of training and experience as outlined by the limits of A), B) and C) above.
+ Broome County Civil Service examination required
