What you need to know Proposed Salary: starting at $21.51 hourly Work Schedule/Location: Located in Dallas, TX, this an on-site role with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm. Qualifications Required Education + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Qualifications + Experience coordinating programs at an institution of higher education or professional school + Experience with research programs + Experience with data collection and program evaluation + Strong organizational skills Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities + Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications + Verbal and written communication skills + Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others Responsibilities + Dental Hygiene Program Administration and Administrative Support: Assists in the coordination of Dental Hygiene program. Creates, establishes, and maintains program files, databases, correspondence, and program materials in accordance with established procedures. Serves as a first point of contact for program information and coordinates responses to requests for program information and offerings. Assists in chair assignments within the clinic with regard to patient needs and provider availability. Greets patients in person for check-in and assists with patient check-out process. Sends correspondence to new patients with login information and identifies patients who need warning and/or closeout letters. Assists with junior/senior orientation and at the beginning and end of each semester. Assists with axiUm training for new students entering clinic. Coordinates patient appointments for Mock Board/WREB screenings based on student availability. + Budget and Program Tracking: Coordinates purchasing and allocation of program related materials. Compiles program statistics to assist in program evaluation. Monitors, tracks and recommends changes to existing programs and budget. Assists in the development of proposals for program funding and support. + Meeting/Training Coordination: Schedules meetings/trainings and coordinates with IT/Clinical Services for any axiUm related updates. Coordinates logistics and travel for program seminars, workshops, orientations, and other special events. Assists with any Dental Hygiene program related committee meetings and materials. + Program Communication and Support: Prepares and manages program correspondence. Assists in the creation and distribution of program materials. Ensures timely and effective communication regarding program schedules and requirements. + Department Back-up Administration Support: Back-up administrative support in procurement of administrative, instructional, clinical, and other equipment and supplies. Clinical Affairs back up support rotation for scheduling, answering phone calls and contact with patients. Why Texas A&M University?
