Program Assistant
Description We are seeking a Program Assistant for our Non-Profit organization. This role involves fostering relationships within the community, presenting workshops, promoting our programs, and maintaining our databases. As a Program Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of our programs and ensuring their consistent implementation. Responsibilities: • Build and nurture positive relationships with teachers, support staff, administration, and the community. • Conduct PAX Tools Community Workshops for parents/caregivers and other community-based providers. • Observe and assess the effectiveness of actions, provide constructive feedback, and recognize small improvements. • Exhibit flexibility in plans and schedules, dedicating extra time to problem-solving and promoting our programs. • Foster enthusiasm for introducing our programs to children in school and in the community. • Contribute ideas to enhance the effectiveness of our programs for students with high needs, both in the classroom and in the community. • Collaborate with district, funders, and supervisor to strengthen our programs at each site. • Ensure the consistent implementation of our program's core components among students, teachers, and relevant school staff. • Conduct regular site visits to provide support, coaching, modeling, and feedback. • Document teacher and school progress through notes, data collection/entry, and analysis. • Compile and analyze school/district outcome data and prepare monthly and quarterly reports as required. • Support the delivery of detail-oriented development to school support staff and teaching staff through meetings, specialized training, and booster sessions. • Attend staff meetings and perform other duties at the request of Supervisor, Team Leader, and Executive Director. Requirements • Competency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills • Proficiency in data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently • Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, maintaining a high level of professionalism • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of creating and managing spreadsheets • Skilled in using Microsoft Outlook for email, calendar management, and scheduling appointments • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, able to create and modify presentations • Proficient in Microsoft Word, able to draft and format documents effectively • Ability to schedule appointments, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and time management • Prior experience in a non-profit setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
