Department:Human Rights ProgramPre-Employment Screening:Identity Schedule:35hrs/week, M-FJob Function:General Administration Position Description: As a Program Assistant you will: + Provide a range of administrative clerical support to the HRP, including, drafting, editing or responding to communications, photocopying, ordering supplies and audiovisual equipment or services, filing, greeting visitors, coordinating travel and reservations, and calendaring. + Assist in financial transactions by processing payments and reimbursements and maintaining records. + Support the logistical components of events, both in-person and virtual, including conferences, speaking events and other periodic events. This may include tasks like booking and preparing meeting rooms, setting up AV equipment, and assisting with registration. + Supports HRPs’ events and public engagement activities including by drafting and formatting content, uploading materials, and monitoring social media accounts. + Support the HRP’s fellowship applications, onboarding, and reporting process including by gathering application materials, scheduling interviews, and maintaining files. + Engage in other ad hoc projects and assignments as directed by HRP Associate Director.
