Under the supervision of the senior department administrator, the Program Assistant provides administrative, financial and operational assistance to the faculty, residents and staff in the department’s clinical and academic offices. Provides support for all matters relating to Faculty Affairs.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Assists faculty throughout the recruitment, appointment, credentialing, promotions, faculty development, and other activities in accordance with RWJMS Faculty Affairs policies, regulations, and procedures. Assists with the provider onboarding process including but not limited to ensuring they have Net ID, computer access, cell phone, etc. as well as communication within and outside the department regarding their arrival, completing add/change form for payer credentialing and CAMs, as needed. Coordinates reappointment of physicians facilitating the submission and evolution of application and supporting paperwork. Assists with the promotion process for physicians facilitating the submission and evolution of application and supporting paperwork. Ensures accuracy for all transactions related to recruitment, reappointment, and advancement of all faculty. Maintains confidential correspondence and other files. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Day Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
