**_Responsibilities:_**
+ Provide assistance in the daily care of health impaired older adults or individuals in our care with brain injuries, intellectual/ developmental disabilities, emotional or behavioral disability or mental diagnosis.
+ Assist with the development and implementation of individual and group activity programs, and responsible for the care, safety, security, and social/recreation activities for the individuals receiving support.
+ Provide guidance with social skills, advocacy and self-esteem and teach strategies to live as independently as possible.
+ Transport to medical appointments, errands, shopping or activities in the community.
**_Qualifications:_**
+ High school diploma or its equivalent and must be 18 years of age
+ Minimum one year experience in providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably with older adults
+ Competence in CPR and First Aid
+ Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills to manage relationships
+ A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
