Program Assistant - RTF Job Details Job Location Champlin Ave - Utica, NY Position Type Full Time Salary Range $19.76 - $19.76 Hourly Travel Percentage None Job Shift Day Description Basic Function/Overall Responsibilities: Responsible for all clerical and administrative needs of the assigned program while maintaining confidentiality within all aspects of the Agency. Principal Assigned Responsibilities: General: + Reception & telephone communication. + Prepare office correspondence including letters, memos, documentation and special projects when requested. + Data entry and reports retrieval and analysis as needed + General filing, photocopying, faxing, ordering supplies, and arranging equipment repair. + Proofread material accurately. + Collect and sort mail, as well as, deliver to respective parties. + Update schedules, rosters, calendars and appointment data on an as needed basis. + Monitor the sign-out and return of agency records (records security) in accordance with approved practice. + Active participation in program and Agency-wide Quality Assessment and Improvement activities in accordance with the Agency's ongoing Quality + Improvement Program. + Other miscellaneous clerical duties as requested by appropriate supervisor. Specific: 1. As specified by program necessitates, certain skills may be utilized to fulfill the requirements of the position. Qualifications Education & Experience Requirement: l. Minimum of High School or Equivalency including secretarial studies 2. Two years of administrative experience preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities and Competencies: l. Commitment to following and embracing the Seven Commitments of our Sanctuary Model. 2. Excellent interpersonal skills 3. Good verbal and written communication skills; 4. Computer, keyboarding, typing proficiency; 5. Must be able to set priorities and complete assignments in a timely fashion. 6. Valid New York State driver's license.
