Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Associate.

In this role, the successful candidate In collaboration with the Pediatric team, the bilingual Spanish-English PlayReadVIP coach will deliver the Video Interaction Project (PlayReadVIP) intervention to children ages 0 to 3 years old and their caregivers.
The Video Interaction Project is an evidence-based parenting program that uses videotaping and developmentally-appropriate toys, books and resources to help parents utilize pretend play, shared reading, and daily routines as opportunities for strengthening early development and literacy in their children. PlayReadVIP sessions take place in pediatric clinics on days of routine well-child visits, and at each session families meet individually with a PlayReadVIP Coach for approximately 25 minutes.

Job Responsibilities:

Administer PlayReadVIP program to parents of infants and young children, which involves tips about reading, playing, and interacting with children, videotaping parents and children playing together, providing general positive reinforcement about the video. Work closely with the pediatric providers and early childhood team around care coordination, goal setting, coaching and education about key aspect of a child's development.Participate in reflective supervision meetings.Maintain and organize project materials.Document all patient activity and care coordination in patient record and other appropriate data systems.Provide referrals and tracks follow-up, as appropriate, to help families make connections to services when a delay or concern is identified.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Associate's Degree is required. Minimum of 1 Year of related experience in an office setting or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Effective Oral, written communication and interpersonal skills. Computer Skills Working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power point and Access. Ability to develop basic formulae for spreadsheets; set up routine computer procedures; Ability to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software. Ability to proofread documents and write clear, concise 1st draft. Ability to type at a speed of at least 45 net words per minutes. Knowledge of standard office practices. Ability to multi-task while paying attention to details. Ability to use standard office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line telephones, fax machines.
Bilingual Spanish and English is required.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $41,137.15 - $42,442.40 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
