Program & Budget Analyst

Leidos is looking for a high performing candidate to fill a position supporting the nation's nuclear deterrence mission with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Defense Programs Tritium Modernization Program Office as a Program and Budget Analyst. The Program analyst will facilitate program communication to internal and external audiences and provide budget integration and analysis across the various Tritium Modernization Program scope areas to ensure consistent messaging and processes. Experience with document management, technical editing, budgeting, cost control, or earned value management system is required.

This is a full-time position located at the NNSA offices in Albuquerque, with the potential for telework up to two days a week based on customer and business needs.

Work collaboratively with the budget team, provide a broad range of budget support including:

Funding analysis to inform monthly Approved Financial Plan (AFP) inputFiscal year execution analysisEarned value / performance analysis, including schedule and resource assessmentsFive- and ten-year budget formulation

Provide the following communication and outreach support including:

Managing numerous information requests from senior managers, office leadership, and outside government entities (weekly status and issue reporting, quarterly milestone status and other performance assessments, etc.)Preparing documentation, talking points, and briefings, including historical data analysis and documentationPreparing and implementing a program communication planAttending and facilitating logistics for program reviews, conferences, workshops, and other program-related meetings, including the semi-annual Tritium Focus Group meetingRecording and transcribing meeting minutes and action items and publishing them to the appropriate audience.Assisting the program office with tracking action items and deliverables.

Required Education, Experience, and Clearance:

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.Active DOE Q or DOD Top Secret clearanceMinimum of 4+ years of related experience with document management and technical editing.Minimum of 2+ years of related budgeting, cost control, or earned value management system experience.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with particular emphasis on word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and SharePoint).Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in producing correspondence, briefings and program plans for senior managers.Ability to analyze and synthesize financial data and program information into precise and easily understandable language.

Salary Range for this position is $125K to $135K

Pay Range:Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
