Job Responsibilities:
As an important part of the project team, your work will be aligned with the higher-level program team, which drives the series development of our Electrification products. You are not only responsible for the successful procurement of all necessary components, but are also responsible for the success of the purchasing project team consisting of Program and CoreTech Buyers and act as a mouthpiece for internal and external contacts from the offer phase to the start of series production.
Your responsibilities:
Independent project responsibility for the purchasing share of various technologies - from the offer phase to the start of series production in complex, global electrification projects
Supplier selection/nomination and supplier development
Purchasing-specific project controlling and reporting
Negotiation of costs (e.g. parts, tooling and equipment costs) and contracts
Coordination and negotiation also in the area of vertical integration / joint ventures
Identification and systematic generation of synergies between customer projects
Initiation, support and implementation of sourcing
Helping to shape the further development and improvement of processes and standards in purchasing
Who we are looking for:

Confident demeanor and excellent interaction with suppliers
Your preferred qualifications:
Completed technical training with a focus on electrical engineering, electronics or mechatronics (HTL, FH, TU) or business management training with previous technical training (e.g. HTL)
Several years of experience as a program buyer in a technical environment, ideally in the automotive industry
Very good written and spoken English skills
Very good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required, SAP experience an advantage
10-20% willingness to travel globally
