About the Role

Supports sales, as well as program management to deliver accurate, on time quotes to the customer while satisfying financial key figures for each project.  Execute financial quoting activities and support the GPMS quote process.  

Maintain and ensure accuracy of program financials (lifetime view) through regular monthly program updates and reports.

Your Responsibilities

•    Together with the program manager, be responsible for delivering the program in line with the targets identified.
•    Drive discipline within the project on commitments and where deviations proactively work with the program team on recovery actions and countermeasures.
•    Responsibility for tracking costs, investments (capex), tooling, launch, and product development costs, as well as financial KPIs for all the programs assigned.
•    Responsibility for carrying out all cost studies (i.a. make-or-buy, business case calculations, investment decisions) together with the specific programs.
•    Support with the business plan (BP) and forecast process and analysis of variations of program changes on the BP.
•    Support the local plants and general managers with relevant strategic decisions in connection to specific programs.
•    Responsibility for ongoing program-reporting and -controlling of project finances (actual vs. plan and differential analysis) as well as preparation of presentations.
•    Responsibility for the representation and presentation of a project's commercial status in steering committee meetings.
•    Responsibility for the preparation of program-specific cost break downs and support with the negotiations with the customer.
•    Responsibility for representation of the division Finance in the project teams.
•    Implementation of special projects.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for

•    Five to seven years of relevant professional experience in finance and controlling areas, preferably in the automotive industry.
•    University degree required (preferably in business, finance, or industrial engineering) or equivalent qualification. 
•    Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
•    Spanish and/or German language is an asset. 
•    Expertise in creating financial models. 
•    Must have advanced Excel skills, be computer literate and have experience in Microsoft Office.
