The Program Coordinator supports the strategy and organizes the implementation of key participant-related stewardship, cultivation, and engagement activities for Jimmy Fund’s signature peer-to-peer events, including the Jimmy Fund Walk, the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge, and others. This role reports to the Director and works in close collaboration to assign and monitor portfolios, manage weekly reporting and analysis, and identity trends and opportunities. The Coordinator collaborates with all members of the team to ensure all goals and KPIs are achieved and serves as the program liaison for the department.

 

The onboarding of this role will include a comprehensive training process which includes completion of online modules, shadowing colleagues, as well as hands-on learning experiences throughout the first calendar year in the role.

This position is considered remote, 0-1 days onsite at 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA each week. DFCI guidelines state that employees must reside in New England: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont.

Responsibilities Revenue responsibility of $300,000+Primary contact for a portfolio of teams in the Jimmy Fund Walk and a portfolio of Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge (DFMC) runners; conduct general outreach to participants as needed Oversee P2P Community Fundraising Events, and responsible for all fundraising and stewardship reports Manage P2P’s Restricted Fundraising programLiaise with fiscal department to ensure funds raised are credited and acknowledged appropriatelyComplete daily, weekly, and monthly processes to ensure funds raised by restricted teams are properly designatedOversee, manage and steward the Run Any Race Program and its participantsProvide administrative support for the P2P Stewardship team and the Director of Stewardship as neededCollaborate with colleagues across the Jimmy Fund to identify best practices and areas for innovation and growth; May work on special assignments and projects as needed. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency required. Associates/Bachelor degree preferred. 2 years administrative work experience required.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Strong written and oral communication skills. Proficient knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Zoom, Adobe. Basic experience analyzing, interpreting and reporting on data to inform programmatic decisions Excellent attention to detail skills. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with peers, leadership, and external contacts. Must possess the ability to problem solve with minimal guidance, maintain confidentiality, and pay attention to detail. Excellent ability to organize, prioritize and follow-through. Ability to apply independently a wide variety of policies/ procedures where specified guidelines may not exist.

PATIENT CONTACT:

Interaction with patients as event participants and/or presenters at events.

 

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Remote work flexibility (0-1 days onsite each week). Some travel, attending events as well as off-site meetings when needed. Requires light lifting for event set-up. Weekend and night work is required occasionally. Attendance at signature events required.
