Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator for NJMS- Division of Infectous Disease. The Program Coordinator (PC) provides HIV Counseling, Testing, and Referral (CTR) within University Hospital, Rutgers and the surrounding community. This position is responsible for screening, assessing, testing and educating individuals on HIV transmission and risk reduction, techniques.

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Serves as lead counselor among five other counselors and testers. As lead tester the PC is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the testing program among counselors and testers. Maintains up to date of the testing flows in the various testing areas so that he/she is able to cross train staff and fill in for tester’s as needed. Serves as lead in the absence of the Program Manager and assumes designated administrative responsibilities as well as assist Program Manager with special projects.
