Shift: First Shift - other shifts as needs arise, full-time
Pay: $50,000+ annual salary, DOE
Job purpose
In conjunction with the Recovery Specialist Lead, this position will assist in the supervision and facilitate day-to day activities such as transportation and provide training of new Recovery Specialist staff. To help the clients have a positive and successful recovery by making sure the client understands their responsibilities in the program and giving guidance when needed. This job also includes aiding treatment director with daily assigned tasks.
Job Duties:

Oversee of all Recovery Specialists. Assist with daily management of the program and staff. Provide individual supervision to Recovery Specialists, along with re-direction, coaching etc. Will recruit and train Recovery Specialist support staff and provide supervision. Provide tours of facilities as needed. Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders. Schedule Recovery Specialist staff on regular basis to ensure safety and licensing compliance for staff client ratio and in keeping with budgeted hours. Responsible for performance reviews after probation period and annually thereafter. Oversee the travel log. Attend, participate, and present as appropriate for weekly staff meetings, staff in-service and meetings. Enforces facility policies with authority to issue corrective action as needed. Recovery Specialist Supervisors may not admit, transfer, or discharge clients. They may be directed to follow through with the process of implementation of the above by the director or designee.Job Requirements:
Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people from diverse cultures, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. Flexibility to meet a variety of changing priorities Computer skills to draft emails, memos, and reporting Must have high school diploma or equivalent. 2 yrs experience in a supervisory position. Minimum 1 yr experience in a chemical dependency facility or related and 2-3 years related experience required, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. CPR and first aid certified. Must know and understand the implication of parts 9530.6405 to 9530.6505 (Rule 31), and Minnesota Statutes, chapter 245A (Human Services Licensing Act-HSLA), sections 626.556 (Maltreatment of Minors Act-MOMA), 626.557 (Vulnerable Act-VAA), and 626.5572 (VAA definitions). Must document 12 hours of training in co-occurring mental health problems and chemical abuse of dependency that includes competencies related to philosophy, screening, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, documentation, programming, medication, collaboration, mental health consultation, discharge planning.Physical Requirements:
