Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator for NJMS- Surgery Trauma & Surgical Critical Care Surgery. This position is under the direction of the Director, the primary purpose of the Program Coordinator position is to provide advanced, diversified and confidential services for the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship the NJMS Office of Global Health, and Center for Global Surgery by supporting the programs, exercising considerable discretion and independent judgment in managing these programs’ day-to-day functioning. Program Coordinator will also support Trauma & Surgical Critical Care Faculty.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Responsible for the coordination and management of the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship (SCCF) Program. Provides administrative support to the NJMS Office of Global Health (OGH) and the Department of Surgery Center for Global Surgery Coordinates research activities and studies. Conducts orientation and ensures the integration of new staff members into the Division unit. Assists in reviewing department programs and activities and in evaluating their administration, objectives, efficiency, effectiveness, and suitability to current conditions, costs, and goals, using established procedures and standards. Provides internal review, management and consultative services to professional staff, program directors and faculty, with respect to planning, developing and carrying out proposals and objectives.
