Position: Program Coordinator Assistant Program: Inroads - Community based program for Adults with Disabilities Location: Concord, CA Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-3:30pm Compensation: $22.50/hour plus great benefits! Benefits:

The Program Coordinator Assistant works as a substitute direct support staff, a trainer of new direct service staff and an assistant to the Program Coordinator. This position is a part of the Inroads Program in Community Access Services.
What is the Inroads Program?
The Inroads program works to support adults with disabilities facilitate their inclusion in all aspects of social, education and independence in community based settings. Services are provided primarily with small groups of individuals who determine and direct the activities and services. While the focus is on inclusion, the scope of activities includes: self-advocacy, recreation, volunteerism, mobility training, fun, educational opportunities, and social skills training.
What a Program Coordinator Assistant will do:
+ Substitutes as direct support staff, planning and implementing direct support services as needed.
+ In the absence of the Program Coordinator completes necessary tasks to ensure the continuation of quality services until the Program Coordinator returns.
+ Completes all training for new and current direct care staff regarding plans and program activities.
+ Develops, reviews, and evaluates Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
+ Attends ISP meetings as part of the Interdisciplinary team
+ Completes all ISP and related paperwork, including the scheduling, leading, and documenting of annual and semi-annual conferences.
+ Maintain case files and makes progress notations,
+ Completes required time studies semi-annually including all relevant documentation.
+ Assists with interviewing and pre-hire requirements for placement.
+ Plans and implements direct support services as assigned.
+ Creates and implements data collection procedures,
+ Analyzes data routinely, making necessary program changes,
+ Develops and implements positive behavioral support procedures, as needed.
+ Develops and implements daily lesson plans as assigned.
Requirements:
+ Valid California driver’s license and good driving record.
+ At least three-years’ experience working with people with disabilities.
+ At least one year of personnel supervision.
+ Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Additional experience over and above basic experiential requirements may be substituted for education.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic math skills.
+ Leadership and teambuilding skills with both coworkers and participants
+ Knowledge of: Individuals with developmental disabilities and evaluation assessment methods including individual differences in abilities, personality, and interests; learning and motivation.
