Under the direction of the department leadership the coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of patient education, disease prevention and health promotion programs. Through collaboration with the education supervisor, the coordinator supports program scheduling, outreach and tracking, marketing activities and location needs. The coordinator will screen incoming program requests and offer patient comprehensive overviews of appropriate programs. The coordinator will also provide skillful administrative support for the patient education department, providers and caregivers and demonstrate excellent customer service. In addition, the coordinator will effectively interact with a wide variety of individuals on several different levels and will serve as a centralized resource for education program information and ensure timely program information communication and enrollment.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education, Health Promotion, or related field. 3 years of Administrative assistant and/or program coordination experiencePreferred qualifications:
