STS Technical Services is hiring a Program Coordinator to support Harley-Davidson Factory Racing operations in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Position OverviewThe Program Coordinator will play a critical role in race operations logistics, inventory management, and factory race product sales. This position is based onsite at Harley-Davidson’s Product Development Center (PDC) in Milwaukee, WI, with required travel for race weekends and test events.
We are looking for someone with a strong operational mindset, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and solution-driven, ensuring smooth execution of race programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesRace Team Operations & Logistics
Manage logistics for race team test events, competition weekends, and other race-related activities. Oversee travel schedules, team resources, and event planning to ensure seamless execution. Engage with suppliers and vendors to manage lead times, deliveries, and procurement needs. Collaborate with marketing teams to support event activations and branding initiatives.Factory Race Product Sales & Inventory Management
Oversee the factory race product sales program, including ordering, inventory tracking, and distribution. Manage staging, packaging, shipping, and receiving of race parts and technical components. Work closely with Accounting to handle invoicing, payment collection, and financial tracking.Collaboration & Communication
Build and maintain strong relationships with race team members, suppliers, and partners. Participate in weekly team meetings, providing updates on logistics, operations, and part sales. Align race team operations with Harley-Davidson’s broader brand and marketing strategies. Education & Experience Requirements 2-year degree or equivalent experience preferred (Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or a related field is a plus). 1-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, motorsports, or technical sales preferred. Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environments with shifting priorities. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders. Experience managing suppliers, vendors, and inventory logistics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software. Motorcycle industry experience or a willingness to learn is a plus.
