Program Coordinator Family Medicine Residency

The PCI assists the Program Director (PD) and Administrative Manager-GME in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training program and ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements. The PCI functions as a liaison between the Fellowship Program Director, fellows, GME Office, participating sites, and other departments. PCIs should be knowledgeable about compliance and regulatory requirements at the various training sites in which their residents/fellows rotate. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates educational activities (e.g., didactic conference schedule, Grand Rounds, etc.) that support the Fellowship Program’s curriculum and adhere to ACGME requirements. Provides guidance to residents/fellows on program and GME policies, and non-clinical aspects of the program. Coordinates creation, dissemination and monitoring of annual Fellowship rotation, clinic and call schedules; updates schedules periodically to maintain accuracy. Assists with same for the FM Residency Coordinates creation, dissemination and monitoring of resident/fellow, faculty, and program evaluations. Coordinates and/or supports accreditation activities - ACGME Site Visits, Internal Reviews, annual program reviews, etc. as needed. Manages Fellowship duty hour reports and supports reporting compliance; assists with same for the FM Residency. Assists in supporting compliance to GME policies and procedures and related departmental policies. Coordinates fellow recruitment and selection process and assists with same for the IM Residency. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Experience working in a Graduate Medical Education environment preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE TAGME Certification Preferred ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Passing the Driver’s License Check and/or Credit Check (for those positions requiring). Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check. Must be able to follow written/oral instructions. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES This job requires great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
