Required License/Registration/Certification None Physical Requirements Sitting for long periods; lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally. Shift Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Job Summary The program coordinator will serve as part of the University of Kentucky Bluegrass Care Clinic (BCC) multidisciplinary team to identify and remove barriers to care for individuals participating in grant programming at the BCC.

They are responsible for determining patient eligibility for various programs within the BCC, registering patients for such programs, ensuring patients understand the programs and their responsibilities, and their insurance/program coverage plan(s).

They must be willing to become a certified Kynector and are responsible for enrolling eligible patients into various insurance and financial assistance programs, advocate for assistance and billing issue resolutions, and ensure that databases/computer systems are up to date with accurate and timely coverage information.

They are responsible for enrolling patients into the Ryan White Part C and D programs, Sexual Wellness Program, and make referrals to other grants as applicable. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities MS Windows (Word, Excel, Access (or other database experience), Outlook, EPIC Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
