The Program Coordinator II assists the Program Director in overseeing the Collegiate Recovery Community, which fosters a supportive environment for students in recovery. Responsibilities include facilitating peer support groups, organizing leadership and outdoor programming, and collaborating with campus and community partners. The role also supports the Program Director in managing daily operations, facilitating student engagement, coordinating events, and maintaining strong partnerships with campus and community stakeholders.

Required Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Four years of program coordination, event coordination, or closely related experience
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree and/or experience in Mental Health, Social Work, Public Health, Health Education, or Collegiate Recovery
+ Background in event planning and program coordination
+ Knowledge of recovery support services or student engagement programs
+ Familiarity with marketing strategies in promoting events or initiatives
+ Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and program evaluation
+ Experience supervising student workers or volunteers
+ Previous work experience in higher education or nonprofit setting
+ Competency in managing budgets and overseeing purchasing for programs or events
+ Certification or training in recovery coaching, mental health support, or related fields
Responsibilities
+ Program Development & Strategic Planning: Assists in establishing short- and long-term goals and strategic planning for the program. Collaborates with leadership and stakeholders to create new and expanded programs. Prepares reports on program activities and evaluates program outcomes.
+ Student Support & Supervision: Develops and maintains relationships with students, faculty, and community partners to enhance program effectiveness. Provides support and mentorship to students regarding recover, education, and life issues. Assists in monitoring student commitment and adherences to policies and procedures related to participation in the Collegiate Recovery Community and University guidelines. Assists in supervising student workers within the program. Co-facilitates peer-to-peer process groups under the supervision of the program director.
+ Training & Event Coordination: Assists in the development, evaluation, and delivery of Recovery Ally Training. Develops and updates training materials and delivers training sessions. Plans, organizes, and schedules Recovery Wilderness Adventures. Supports the planning and execution of the annual fundraising dinner. Works with marketing and communications to promote programming and events.
+ Program Operations: Supports purchasing, budgeting, and fiscal activities related to operations and programming.
