Description:Program Counsel - Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM)
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team as a Program Counsel for the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) line of business, where you'll have the opportunity to support a diverse portfolio of programs, including the C-130 Hercules, C-5 Galaxy, and next-generation aerial refueling and air mobility platforms. As a key member of the Aeronautics Legal Department, you'll collaborate with colleagues across the organization, including those supporting the F-35, Integrated Fighter Group, and Advanced Development Programs (Skunkworks).
What You Will Be Doing
You will be advising AMMM leadership on all aspects associated with capturing new business in the form of domestic U.S. Government contracts, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts, and international Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracts. You will also be responsible for advising AMMM leadership on all aspects associated with executing existing business compliantly, effectively and efficiently. In this role you will support and work alongside two AMMM Legal Directors. Job responsibilities include:
• Negotiation, drafting and advising on contracts, subcontracts, teaming arrangements, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other traditional and innovative contractual arrangements in collaboration with Contracts, Supply Chain Management, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Advising on compliance with laws and regulations relevant to U.S. Government contracting, including but not limited to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
• Advising on compliance with foreign laws and regulations, in coordinating with outside counsel, in relation to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics’ international business.
• Advising on proactive dispute avoidance techniques, and managing disputes – including claims, bid protests and other litigation – if they do arise.
• Advising on Federal Aviation Administration regulations and investigations.
• Supporting domestic and international business development teams (some travel required).
• Managing outside counsel.

Basic Qualifications:
• Current Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and current license to practice law in good standing in the U.S.
• The position requires three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Some experience with U.S. Government contracts, including FAR and DFARS regulations.
• Current U.S. Government security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Desired Skills:
• Experience working on international DCS contracting.
• Experience working on international FMS contracting.
• Basic knowledge of government contracts intellectual property requirements.
• Basic knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
