For more information, visit www.oakstreethealth.com. Role Description:In partnership with an academic partner, Oak Street Health will be developing an exciting six-month leadership training program that is designed for existing high-performing providers.

 

The Program Director will work closely with various departments, including provider engagement and clinical operations & learning. The Director will be responsible for recruitment, development, and evaluation of the participants.  In addition to program responsibilities, the Program Director will practice primary care in our clinics on a part-time basis to enable context for the practice and to remain close to our patients.  The Program Director will report to the Senior Medical Director & Vice President of APPs and Clinical Fellowships.

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

Curriculum Creation: Develop and refine the training curriculum to ensure it meets the program's goals and addresses the needs of participants.Selection: Oversees the committee of medical leaders tasked with selection of candidates for admission to the program. Leader is responsible for recruitment, as well as identifying eligibility criteria and desired attributes.Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to team members and participants as needed.Participant Feedback and Evaluation: Create and implement structured evaluations of participants. Address any issues or concerns promptly. Program Evaluation: Participation in the ongoing review of the program to assess the quality of the educational experience and to review the resources available in order to ensure that maximal benefit is being derived.Coordination with Operations: Collaborate closely with operational partner to ensure efficient workflows and positive participant experiences. Stakeholder Engagement: Work with internal and external stakeholders to align program objectives and outcomes. Serve as the primary point of contact for the academic partnership relationship. Performance Management: Track and evaluate the effectiveness of the program through metrics, assessments, and participant feedback.Dissemination: Represent the program at conferences, seminars, and other events to promote the program and build its reputation.Other duties as assigned

 

What are we looking for?Current OSH provider (physician, NP or PA)FTE 0.8 or higherMinimum of 2 years as a high performing Center Medical Director at Oak Street HealthStrong Project Management experiencesExperience starting or managing a fellowship program or developing curriculumExperience with education, such as precepting learners, developing or delivering didactics or training new providers Experience with participating in organizational wide initiativesComfort with data analytics, quality improvement, and process improvementExperience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
