Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Sector has an opening for a Program Director 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within the Triton program. This leadership role is located onsite in San Diego, California.
This Program Director 2 position will serve as the Deputy Triton Enterprise Program Manager, reporting to the Triton Enterprise Program Manager. This is a leadership position with regular executive and customer interactions. The selected candidate will display consistent impeccable judgment and embody Northrop Grumman leadership behaviors. Key Responsibilities include:
Lead a diverse team in the critical execution of development, production, sustainment, and international captureEffectively coordinate across multiple program IPTs to manage enterprise program executionCustomer communication and collaboration to drive mutual goals and shared success Lead a team of technical team members to deliver program, cost and technical milestonesLeadership of a team where you will define goals, develop the team and ensure the team is continuously performing and growing into expanded roles Actively manage Risk, Issues & Opportunities to ensure program execution success Partner with functional disciplines to define and integrate expertise into the team Define, negotiate, monitor & track performance of suppliers; manage change and ensure performance to plan Deliver financial results in alignment with the annual operating plan (AOP)International customer engagement and capture activityA successful candidate for this role will have:

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline and 9 years) of related experience; or Master’s degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in a STEM discipline and 7 years) of related experienceRelated experience includes progressive engineering, operations, production program management or business leadership experience inclusive of pursuit, capture, design, development, EMD, low-rate initial production and full rate productionMinimum of 5 years of experience in program or project leadership rolesDemonstrated experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account managerDemonstrated success leading teams and/or organizations to achieve a common goalPrevious profit and loss experience and demonstrated knowledge of EVMS methodologies and toolsActive DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top-Secret security clearance as well as the ability to obtain and maintain SCIAbility to travel up to 25% of the timePreferred Qualifications:
Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance Experience leading a team in a matrixed environment to achieve program goalsResponsibility for profit and loss with U.S. Military customers in the execution of cost-type and fixed price contractsEarned Value Management leadership and execution on U.S. Military programsAt least 5 years’ experience in program/project management on development, manufacturing, or sustainment of uncrewed aircraft systemsWhat We Offer:

Salary Range: $258,600.00 - $387,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
