Position Overview

By Light Professional IT Services is seeking a Program Director to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD. Functions and responsibilities include elements such as: Perform management, supervisory and leadership functions in accordance with ongoing Program initiatives; responsible for the overall direction, management, communication, coordination of deliverables, and accountability of GSMO-II program oriented work efforts and success of their projects across the IT organization; create scope documents based on approved charters and project plans (work breakdown structures); track key milestones and adjust project plans, budget requests and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.

Responsibilities Reports directly to the Global Network Services VP, having first-tier responsibility for overseeing all support activities and deliverables provided to DISA with regard to the programMust be able to work across the full spectrum of the acquisition lifecycle from opportunity capture to services deliveryProviding Project Management support, to include developing and maintaining integrated master schedules, creating and submitting program related documentation, preparing and presenting briefings, providing full conference/meeting support, and preparing senior level strategic briefings and metrics as required by the GovernmentSupporting all aspects of the development and implementation of IT services projectsEnsuring the completion and integration of multiple complex projects simultaneouslyDeveloping service descriptions and project requirements documentation, CONOPs and other documents to support preparation for review boards as required to ensure service delivery and operational supportProviding analysis and recommendations in support of the resolution of IT-related problems; executing the recommendations as directed by the client.Providing Senior-level strategic communications support, to include policy, process, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) review and developmentAiding in the coordination of activities and documents to ensure alignment with plans and directives for delivery of IT solutions across the DOD EnterprisePrimary customer point of contact as the lead for the program with respect to providing IT services and working within a complex network environmentOverall daily responsibility for the delivery of all work products and services on this program, to include technical artifacts, reports, presentations, and briefings to the clientManages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between all elements of the Task OrderResponsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actionsOversee the status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reportsMonitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectivesEnsures the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, project team and clientsEnsures production schedules are met or exceededEnsures engineering & technical resources are used effectively and appropriatelyCoordinates resolution of deliverable-related problemsEnsures proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services and deliverablesPrioritize efforts to ensure successful client outcomeUse strong planning and organizational skills to ensure timely completion of all milestones and efforts with minimal client disruptionProvides proactive and responsive customer focused leadership, reaching back to corporate resources to mitigate risks and resolve Required Experience/Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) requiredBachelor’s DegreeAt least 7-10 years relevant Project support experience across the entire project life cycleRelated industry experience in information technology or engineeringWorking knowledge Microsoft Office Tools; specifically, Excel, Word, and ProjectExcellent communication, effective leadership, and interpersonal skills Preferred Experience/Qualifications Experience working with DISA and GSMO-II Contracts is desiredMasters in Related fields.     Special Requirements/Security Clearance Top Secret at a minimum Salary Range

Salary Minimum: $120,000

Salary Maximum: $150,000

 

The annual base salary provided is a guideline for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
