Oversee daily operations of five programs at CHAM: Phoebe H. Stein Child Life Program, CDM Group Creative Arts Program and Carl Sagan Discovery Interactive TV Explainer program, NYC Board of Education Hospital School Program, and Suzanne Pincus Family Learning Place program.
This role oversee critical and educational programming for patients and families, maintains daily function of TV system in CHAM, supervises program associates both 1199 and management, (Including performance evaluations, rounding assignments), manages budget, writes grants, oversees ordering of supplies, oversees management of volunteer and internship program, provides tours, participate in committees, develop special programming, collaborate with marketing and media relations to highlight programming.
Director Must be able to supervise managers with ultimate responsibility for overseeing the five programs, offering clinical and educational interventions with patients and families. Must work closely with development tram to procure funding. Must collaborate with other managers on budgets totaling over $1,811,192 for personnel and OTPS expenses, and $350,000 annual contract for Getwellnetwork equipment (charges to IT)

Master’s Degree – Child Life
Child Life Certification
Minimum 5 years work related experience
