Program Director (Global Capability Center)

Responsibilities 

The Program Director will direct activity related to the execution of the Enterprise Technology and Security organization-wide, build out of the Global Capability Center (GCC) effort that combines the delivery of a software development center offshore, migration planning and execution of transition activities for the GCC, and oversight of governance tasks to drive to the GCC plan deliverables. This role is responsible for the management of supporting GCC workstreams (e.g., strategic change management and governance, migration planning, transformational operating model delivery, etc.) within the GCC overall program. Sometimes referred to as internal consultants, individuals work on various workstreams and require a broad knowledge of the firm and its key functions. Within the program office, incumbents use knowledge of the development lifecycle to monitor and ensure completion of projects on schedule. These projects necessitate full-time commitment and are not undertaken by incumbents whose primary roles are elsewhere. Strong quantitative, analytical, and project management skills are also required. Incumbents may utilize agile software development methodologies.

The Program Director will be responsible for:

40% Strategic / 40% Execution Delivery / 20% Transactional. Role is balanced between day-to-day high level operational execution and development of the strategic direction of the GCC workstreams.Leads all facets of the multiple programs necessary to deliver the change, including managing the partnership with Executive Sponsors. Establishes and reviews objectives, coordinates all activities across projects, and oversees the integration and reuse of interim work products and results.Leads high-level sessions for program plan and schedule development. Acts as the communications conduit to executive sponsors and program steering committee and conducts periodic briefings/status updates.Reviews/approves project plans for conformance to program strategy and program plan and schedule.Provides and interprets policies, creating an environment that fosters sustainable momentum for the program (i.e., removing barriers both inside and outside the enterprise), and periodically reviewing program progress and interim results to ensure alignment with the overall strategic vision.

Required Qualifications 

10+ Years program management experience with prior knowledge and expertise in building out Global Capacity Centers / captives.Requires comprehensive understanding of internal and industry standards for Global Capacity Centers / captives, as well as of the changing business environment. Applies industry expertise and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance within a GCC buildout program.Proven track record of large programs end-to-end delivery to time, cost, and quality. Regarded internally as a program management expert, providing specialist knowledge and support to project teams to shape business development and resolve business issues. In-depth knowledge and proven application of Program and Project Management methodologies and full project lifecycle including documentation standards, risk, issue, assumption, and dependency management and change controls process.Familiarity with process modeling, workshop facilitation and business analysis. Well rounded knowledge of banking products and terminology. Competent use of Microsoft Office applications to include Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $210,000 - $300,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
